EU concerned about nationalism in Bosnia

BRUSSELS: The European Union expressed concern Monday about a rise in nationalist rhetoric in Bosnia and urged Sarajevo to do more to implement EU-oriented reforms.

EU foreign ministers, meeting in Brussels, said they were “very concerned about the recent evolution of the political situation in Bosnia, notably the use of nationalist rhetoric.” They called on Bosnian authorities to “assume their responsibilities and renew their efforts to make progress on reforms needed for Bosnia to advance on its European Union track,” in a French-language statement.
