Where have all the Patriots gone?:Rethinking the Hellenic Nation and our National Issues, Part 1

The polls are in and it’s unanimous; our Nation’s leadership has failed us. Whether it is the elected officials at home or the leadership of our Diaspora and it’s useless advocacy groups, the previous generation of political leadership and ‘lobbyists’ have shown there true colors; as nothing more then a bunch of corrupt and self-centered phonies that have sold out Hellenism because of there own greed and inabilities to produce.

What has PASOK or New Democracy truly done when it comes to our National Issues? For once in Greek History, we can finally look past ideological lines and say confidently that neither the Left nor Right has done anything to secure our interests and honor in the international community. Now before you start holding fast to your party allegiances and start calling me a radical or better yet, saying ‘what does this Amerikaniki know’, riddle me this; When was the last time a Greek PM or government, for that matter, did anything productive to protect our National Rights in Northern Epirus or even help protect those Greeks still living there from Human rights abuses? Has our leaders brought us victory when it comes to protecting our Macedonian heritage from our Slavic enemies to the North? Have our brothers and sisters in Cyprus come any closer to returning to their homes and uniting there island? And I won’t even touch our problems with Turkish airspace and human rights violation against us and the remaining Greek minority. Needless to say neither side has brought us a breathe of fresh air and we Greeks continue to act like castrated dogs in the international scene. The shell shock of the Asia Minor catastrophe and the attempted coup in Cyprus must be brushed off, if we are to survive as an independent people.

As I’ve said this shame has not just fallen on our leadership at home, but it is also shared by those living abroad and the advocacy groups they claim to use in our national interest. Here in the United States groups such as Manatos and Manatos have embarrassed the image of Greek advocacy groups. Throwing fundraisers and supporting pro-Turkish politicians, such as Robert Wexler (D) of Florida’s 19th district, an outspoken friend of Turkey, who has even visited occupied Cyprus. Are these really the people we want lobbying for our national interests? People, who when I called to speak with them about such anti-Greek moves, were left dumbfounded and could only muster a nervous giggle as a responds, before claiming that they could produce pro-Greek comments by Representative Wexler, of which till this very day I continually wait to hear the magic words ‘You have mail’ from Manatos and Manatos. These family run Advocacy groups are nothing more then the American versions of the same corrupt political dynasties inside the motherland that keep Greece in shackles. It is long overdue that regular men and women wrestler the reins of power away from these monsters in order to protect and secure our continued national survival as Greeks. New stances and outlooks on our national issues need to be taken. We can not continue beating the same ineffective drum like a broken record if we are to survive. We must look outside the box and taken new fresh approaches to our problems in hopes of doing the unthinkable, winning.

Makedonia

For roughly 17 years since the dismantlement of the former Yugoslavia one of our most pressing national issues has been our attempts to prevent the rape and theft of our Macedonian heritage by Tito’s bastard creation of Bulgarian speaking pseudo-Macedonians. This long and up hill struggle has produced failure after failure for the Greek leadership since it foolishly backed down from its embargo of Vardaska in the early 90s.

For quiet some time this issue has been seen by many as a stalemate, with neither side willing to compromise from their hard-line stances. During which the Greek government foolishly relaxed its push and became comfortable with the status-quo, instead of continuing feverishly our cause until victory was achieved. Now the United States and its allies in Skopje have joined forces to force Greece to bow to the will of these revisionists. Our only pray falling on the government of Karamanlis to stand strong with his decision to veto NATO membership of Vardaska.

If we are to get the upper hand a secure a stronger position on the name dispute we must approach this issue from a radically new position. I for one, suggest a new foreign and domestic policy when dealing with Vardaska. Domestically, for years we have been fighting against the Skopjean claims of minority rights, which we have wisely stated can not be recognized. However, one possible change, in handling Skopje expansionists dreams in Macedonia, would be to first no longer identify them as Skopjean- rather identify them as Bulgarians and give them all the rights of other minorities- open Bulgarian schools and churches etc and allow the Bulgarian government not Skopje rights and claims to these individuals. Second, Skopje calls for the opening of Macedonian language schools should be answered positively. The Greek government should publicly support and fund the creation of several schools to teach the Macedonian dialect -that is the government should put together a team of linguistic and historians to piece back together the ancient Macedonian dialect of the Greek language to be taught today officially as Macedonian inside and outside Greece. When it comes to a new stance on foreign policy, the answer is very simple; we should take a page from the Serbian government over the issue of Kosovo. We should pull all our ambassadors from every embassy worldwide if the host nation recognizes Vardaska as Macedonia. For how can our government be taken serious, in side the Greek state, if we allow our ambassadors to stay in such countries?

So you want to call yourself an 'Aryan'

The very term has lost its acceptance in society since the Second World War, where the word ‘Aryan’ found itself synonyms with the ideology of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party and Adolf Hitler. Hitler adopted the term, Aryan, which before the War, was an accepted word in the Scientific world, linguistic studies, and society in general. Many people today forget the original meaning of the word ‘Aryan’ and instead continue to associate it with the Nordicist view of a pure blonde hair and blue eyed people, which is false. ‘Aryan’ today has become such a detested word that it is rarely used outside the White Nationalist Movement and National Socialist circles. However, it is important that we understand what an Aryan truly is, before we decide to discard such an important part of our history to the scrap yards of time.

One of the most important uses of the word originally was associated with what is now identified as the Indo-European language branch. Originally the two words were used interchangeable. Understanding this helps us truly understand who if anyone really is an ‘Aryan’. Seeing that the term was in the past used to describe the Indo-European language family, before the coming age of political correctness, it is safe to say that one of the criteria for being an Aryan is to speak an Indo-European language.

The second and most controversial use of the word comes in its scientific representation as a racial category. Many today shy away from this usage and the establishment likes to group any works that still use the terminology as ‘pseudo-science’ and ‘racist’. However, whether you believe the establishment or the ‘pseudo-scientists’ it is safe to say that racially speaking the word Aryan is synonyms with Caucasian and the Caucasoid branch of humanity.

So with just this quick basic look at what an ‘Aryan’ really is one can root out past misusages that relate to Nordicism ‘pure race’ hype. What we do find is that an Aryan is someone of Caucasian descent whose ancestors spoke, as do they, an indo-European language. These are the bare requirements of who is an Aryan. However, there still is one huge and offend overlooked criteria to deciding who truly is an Aryan or not. This comes from the very meaning of the words origin.

The word, ‘Aryan’, comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Aryas’, which means ‘Noble’, hence simply, an Aryan is a Noble person. This is where being an Aryan goes from black and white criteria, and enters the realm of philosophic debate. For what is Noble? Are you born Noble or is it something one becomes based on his or her own actions? It is common knowledge that nobility in old times was a birth right passed down from generation to generation by the ruling elite. However, does simply being Noble by birth constitute a person as being Noble hearted as well?

Can a person really call themselves an Aryan today if they are lacking the essence of nobility? Respect and Honour for all people, even those you view as your enemy. If such a term is ever to make resurgence in our mainstream vocabulary, we must make sure that all the criteria is used to establish who is and who isn’t a true Aryan.

Patriotic Hand Gestures

With the most recent events in the Republic of Vardaska (FYROM), we have noticed the creation of a new rallying call for our Bulgarian enemies to the north. This new rallying call is the ‘United Macedonia’ salute, which was coined recently in response to the ongoing Macedonian Name dispute between Vardaska and Greece. This new salute has been given plenty of publicity with the most recent riots in Vardaska, where extremists have attack the Greek Embassy and reporters, with no police indifference. These events and the creation of this new salute, has gotten me to wonder a little about these tactics to rally our enemies. Even the Turks have their own hand gesture, known as the Wolf Head, which is used by extremists that support the terrorist organization known as the Grey Wolves.

From my knowledge only our brothers in Serbia have developed there own hand gesture in response to our enemies extensive hatred. The Serbian three-finger salute, which consists of the thumb, index, and middle fingers extended out. A salute which is meant to represent Orthodoxy, associated with the Christian Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

It is because of this, that I suggest the creation or adoption of a hand gesture for our Hellenic brothers to rally behind. Of which I suggest either the adoption of the Serbian Three-finger salute, to show our comradely with the Serbian cause and nation or the creation of our own symbol, with the adoption of the Enotita Eagle salute, which is made with creation the Serbian Three Finger Salute with both hands and connecting them together by thumbs to create the appearance of a two headed eagle.

Makedonia: the Cradle of Hellenism

Urgent push to settle Fyrom name
Athens accepts UN mediator Matthew Nimetz's latest proposal as a basis fortalks, while sceptical Skopje backtracks on a possible referendum

By GEORGE GILSON

Some my call my thoughts radical, others may view what I am about to say, as a fresh breathe of air. Whatever you may think, I believe as Hellenes, we can all agree on one thing, and that is we must not allow our government and the international community to sell our Makedonian Heritage to these Bulgarians.

We true Makedonians, must do whatever is necessary, may it be working peacefully through the correct political channels or confrontational world wide protests and boycotts, to let the world know that we will not stand for our heritage and history being given to another people to help them stabilize there pseudo-Bulgar-Albanian state.

It is time that we Hellenes realize the reality of the situation, and that is that the United States and its Western Allies are no friends of Greece. Here we are, a NATO and EU nation, and do our NATO and EU allies side with us? NO! They ally themselves with this pseudo-state to the north. Wake up! Wake up Hellenes! You are only lying to yourselves if you think America cares about Greece or Greek people. It is up to us, as a people, not to the established political leadership to secure and save our Makedonian heritage.

To the American Establishment and to its Western European Allies

In the past few days I’ve come to wonder about a lot of things, mostly in my attempts to understand and rationalize the current and historical events taking place. Which, I’m sad to say, leaves me with many uneasy questions. Questions that I’m sure I am not alone in thinking, questions that for once need to be finally answered.

Why do we claim to be fighting a War on Terror, against Bin Laden and the general concept of Terrorism, and allow people who followed such an action, there own state in Kosovo? Is that not rewarding those who use Terrorism, and hence hypocritical?

If Kosovo is allowed to separate from the rest of Serbia, then why isn’t the Republic of Srpska in Bosnia, not allowed the same right? Why do we keep a country like Bosnia together, by military force, when all of its three main religious and ethnic groups all wish to separate? Why dismantle one country and forcefully keep another together?

The world agrees that ethnic cleansing is a terrible thing and those war criminals responsible for such horrible acts should come to justice and be punished, not rewarded. Yet why is there a wanted War Criminal as acting Prime Minister of ‘the Republic of Kosovo”? Why are Serbian War Criminals the only ones brought to justice and plastered across the media, while Albanian, Croatian, and Bosnian War Criminals stay under the radar of the media and away from the War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia?

Is it wrong to ask these questions? Are they that unreasonable or radical to wonder about? One can only wonder why the West has decided to dismantle Serbia. Is it an attempt at destroying the former Orthodox Alliance system in the Balkans? What will be the next step in the grand scheme of things? Is this a play to dismantle the Greco-Serbian axis of the Balkans? I hate to be seen as some crazed conspiracy theorist, and for the record I myself do not believe in any type of conspiracy, yet I must say it is becoming harder and harder to continue believing this. Is Greece the next target, with its own Albanian population in Epirus? Could the West’s demands over the Macedonian name dispute be part of a general policy towards Greece that includes the next step in plans of Greater Albania? Could the Muslim minority of Thrace also be part of any future policy decisions? The similarities between the dismantlement of Serbia and the possible dismantlement of Greece are far to close for comfort in my opinion. Are the West’s attempts in solving the Cyprus conflict, nothing more then a move to finalize the separation between mainland Greeks and Greek Cypriots, so to create a Greek ‘Montenegro’ once and far all? I wish I had the answers to these questions, I wish things were much clearer, but the fact of the matter is they aren’t. Anyone’s guess is as good as mine, but the point of this article is not to answer anyone of these questions, but rather to make you question the true motivates of the establishment inside Balkan politics.
