The very term has lost its acceptance in society since the Second World War, where the word ‘Aryan’ found itself synonyms with the ideology of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party and Adolf Hitler. Hitler adopted the term, Aryan, which before the War, was an accepted word in the Scientific world, linguistic studies, and society in general. Many people today forget the original meaning of the word ‘Aryan’ and instead continue to associate it with the Nordicist view of a pure blonde hair and blue eyed people, which is false. ‘Aryan’ today has become such a detested word that it is rarely used outside the White Nationalist Movement and National Socialist circles. However, it is important that we understand what an Aryan truly is, before we decide to discard such an important part of our history to the scrap yards of time.
One of the most important uses of the word originally was associated with what is now identified as the Indo-European language branch. Originally the two words were used interchangeable. Understanding this helps us truly understand who if anyone really is an ‘Aryan’. Seeing that the term was in the past used to describe the Indo-European language family, before the coming age of political correctness, it is safe to say that one of the criteria for being an Aryan is to speak an Indo-European language.
The second and most controversial use of the word comes in its scientific representation as a racial category. Many today shy away from this usage and the establishment likes to group any works that still use the terminology as ‘pseudo-science’ and ‘racist’. However, whether you believe the establishment or the ‘pseudo-scientists’ it is safe to say that racially speaking the word Aryan is synonyms with Caucasian and the Caucasoid branch of humanity.
So with just this quick basic look at what an ‘Aryan’ really is one can root out past misusages that relate to Nordicism ‘pure race’ hype. What we do find is that an Aryan is someone of Caucasian descent whose ancestors spoke, as do they, an indo-European language. These are the bare requirements of who is an Aryan. However, there still is one huge and offend overlooked criteria to deciding who truly is an Aryan or not. This comes from the very meaning of the words origin.
The word, ‘Aryan’, comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Aryas’, which means ‘Noble’, hence simply, an Aryan is a Noble person. This is where being an Aryan goes from black and white criteria, and enters the realm of philosophic debate. For what is Noble? Are you born Noble or is it something one becomes based on his or her own actions? It is common knowledge that nobility in old times was a birth right passed down from generation to generation by the ruling elite. However, does simply being Noble by birth constitute a person as being Noble hearted as well?
Can a person really call themselves an Aryan today if they are lacking the essence of nobility? Respect and Honour for all people, even those you view as your enemy. If such a term is ever to make resurgence in our mainstream vocabulary, we must make sure that all the criteria is used to establish who is and who isn’t a true Aryan.
