Recently the London-based Hellenic Newspaper Ta Nea, published a letter written by Georgia Maratheftis of Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA)entitled When an all night vigil becomes a cultural event..., in response to PSEKA's own Philip Christopher and the planned events of the official Cypriot lobby for the 35th Anniversary of the Illegal Invasion and Military Occupation of Cyprus.

I would like to thank both Georgia Maratheftis, CANA, and the newspaper Ta Nea for bringing this to light. This mismanaged and inappropriate handling of Hellenic issues only strengthens the belief that the Cypriot-American lobby is useless and ill-equipped to handle the task at hand. 'Justice for Cyprus'
